Teachers
have not only been able to use their toolbox of technology in the classroom to
enhance their lessons, but also to use the Internet to expand their knowledge. You can
use different websites such as Twitter, Linkedln, Udemy, Blog sites and
Pinterest. Twitter is one that I use a lot as well as blogging. Twitter is
great for group discussions because the power of hash tagging brings together a creative
way to discuss certain topics. When you hash-tag a word it starts a trend for that
word. Today in class we talked about the teacher work sample that we must
complete as a group for statistics. I could start up a hash tag such as
#TWSPED434. With the ability of this my group can look at all the things I post
about our work under this hash tag. It’s a great way to stay communicated for
our class project. A great thing about this is that anyone can search my trend.
I can have random people who I do not know comment something and relate it to
my trend. This is useful if I have debatable topics to discuss and want intake
from other people all over the world. I would hash tag a word so we can create
a chat back and forth using that specific hash tag. Another Internet source I use is
blogging. Blogging is a great way to see what students have to express when
they actually sit down and think. I use my blog for my education class. These
class topics arise and we react to the questions immediately. The way I answer
the questions mostly is not what I really want to say. I just say it immediately just to say anything. When I get time to actually think about it, I express myself
better and I do this through my blog. I personally like the blog because I get to
see what my other classmate’s ideas and interests and they can see mine. I express
myself much better when I am not under pressure to react and respond. Teachers can make blogs mandatory for
students and this is where the professor will post all the work that is due and
where the students can submit their work. The Internet has such great tools
for students and teachers to utilize. It is always great to network yourself trying to meet
knew people and see other peoples ideas. You can other sources in the internet

Who I AM
- Karagrozis
- Hello everyone, I am 23 years old and a Physical Education. I graduated from SUNY CORTLAND upstate New York. I am currently getting my masters in HPER at Emporia State University in Kansas.I currently work at Malverne High School as a leave replacement for physical education. I also teach 1 health and physical education class at the middle school for their district. I love volleyball and I am very competitive. I like challenges and being pushed to my limits. I've done some amazing DVD workouts such as Insanity and Insanity Asylum and P90X2. They can change your physical appearance tremendously. Your results are based on what you give in, how much you will push yourself, how much pain you can take and keep pushing knowing it will only benefit you. How much sweat are you willing to sweat? I believe that every person in this world can make a difference in a positive way, my way is by teaching. This blog is mainly from my undergraduate degree but I tend to add more post as I continue my career.
